I moved to the area and needed a new barber shop and after trying a few and feeling disappointed I found LIC Tonsorial. I have been going here for every cut. It’s cash only but totally worth. The hot towels are a nice touch. Great barbers and great cuts.
The fade is fine and the place is nice but for people with curly hair be careful cuz it was so uneven on the top and so much was cut off that I had to use scissors to even it out myself. I recommend Astoria Unisex Barbershop they do it better for curly hair.
Aura consistently provides subtly new looks and a professional eye to keep me presentable and well groomed, with attention to detail other shops could learn from. This shop is always energetic but classy - happily cutting kids hair, adults looking for a wild night out and elders who need a reliable, respectful experience - they do it all.
Gerardo was great! A lot of my friends see him so I'm glad I checked him out too.
Appointments are suggested but walk-ins are available too. This is a cash only business. Luckily there is an atm in the back.

This is an extraordinary barbershop with very talented barbers. You walk in and you are greeted at the door immediately. The barbers are attentive to detail at an extremely fair price. Would highly recommend LIC Tonsorial to anyone in the New York City area.
Luis , Gerardo and Justin are gems! You can’t go wrong with anyone there really. Luis is always warm and welcoming. Great conversation, even better haircut.
